Replacement of the fuel filter (each 48 000 km of a run or time in 24 months)

Remember that gasoline is flammable liquid in the highest measure – during the work with components of a power supply system observe all taken measures of fire safety. You do not smoke and do not approach the venue of works with naked flame or the carrying unprotected by the lamp shade. You do not make service of system in the room equipped with the heating devices using natural gas and equipped with a control torch (such as vodogre and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among the cancerogenic substances promoting development of cancer – try not to allow hits it on open parts of the body, use protective rubber gloves, carefully wash out hands warm water with soap at casual unforeseen contact with fuel. Immediately collect the spilled fuel and do not put the rags impregnated with fuel and lubricants near sources of naked flame. Remember that the power supply system of the models equipped with injection of fuel constantly is under pressure. Before starting a detachment of fuel lines, dump residual pressure in system (for more details see the Head of the Power supply system and release). At service of components of a power supply system put on goggles. Constantly hold near at hand the class B fire extinguisher!

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. It is necessary to start implementation of the procedure only after full cooling (not less than three hours later after an engine stop).
2. The fuel filter is located in a motive compartment on its back partition.
3. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).

4a. Enclose under the filter paper towels for collecting the spilled fuel. Give a hollow bolt of nipple connection.

4b. Turn out the carving union.

4 pages. Weaken a coupling bolt and take the filter from a motive compartment (see accompanying illustrations).

Whenever possible at a detachment of the fuel line use a special cap key with a cutting head.

5. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to change sealing washers on both sides of a hollow nipple bolt which it is necessary then to tighten with the required effort. Track reliability of tightening of the carving union. Start the engine and attentively examine the filter on existence of signs of leaks.
