System of a perepuskaniye of the soaked-up air – the general information, check of a state and replacement of a diaphragm of the IAB valve

General information

Some models are equipped with the IAB system providing a possibility of a perepuskaniye of the air which is soaked up in the engine in the combustion chamber. The inlet pipeline on such models is equipped with two air channels that allows to optimize air supply the engine depending on specific conditions of its functioning. Maximum efficiency of return is reached due to operation of valves switches depending on the current turns of the engine. The closed position of valves allows to try to obtain the maximum torque at low turns of the engine, open serves for obtaining the maximum power at high turns.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At the killed engine disconnect a vacuum hose from a diaphragm of IAB and connect to the last the manual vacuum pump (see an accompanying illustration). If the rod of a diaphragm remains motionless, replace assembly.

2. At the engine working at single turns make sure available depression on the open end of the disconnected vacuum hose. Depression has to take place idling, disappearing at increase in frequency of rotation of the engine to 6000 rpm.
3. If on single turns depression is absent, walk on a vacuum hose from a diaphragm to the valve of management located under the inlet pipeline and further – to the vacuum tank. Disconnect the hose going from the tank to the inlet pipeline and check it for depression existence. If depression is absent, check a hose existence of cracks and signs of blocking.

4. Disunite the socket of the electromagnetic IAB valve (see an accompanying illustration). Connect the positive probe of the voltmeter to the plug of a red-blue wire in the socket from a plait, negative – to the plug of a black wire. At the included ignition battery tension has to take place. If tension is absent, check a condition of an electrical wiring and quality of its contact connections.

5. If tension takes place, and vacuum lines as it should be, replace the electromagnetic valve.

Replacement

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For replacement of a diaphragm turn out screws of its fastening (see an accompanying illustration).

2. For replacement of assembly of the electromagnetic valve with the vacuum tank weaken a fixing collar (see an accompanying illustration).

3. Installation is made upside-down.
