System of blocking – the general information, check of a state, replacement and adjustment of an electromagnet of management

Considered in the present manual of the car are equipped with safety cushions (SRS). When performing any works near sensors of blows, a steering column or the dashboard disconnect SRS (see schemes of electric connections at the end of the Head Onboard electric equipment).

General information

On all models equipped with AT the system of blocking preventing inadvertent switchings of a box is provided. The system of blocking consists of two subsystems: systems of blocking of gear shifting and system of blocking of a key.

System of blocking of a key

The system prevents a possibility of extraction of a key from the ignition lock until the lever of the selector is not transferred to situation "P". At introduction of a key to the lock in any excellent from "Р" position of the lever there is an activation of the electromagnetic actuation mechanism making extraction of a key impossible. To take a key, transfer the lever to the situation demanded ("Р").

System of blocking of gear shifting

The system prevents a possibility of the translation of the lever of the selector from situation "P" in provisions "R" or "D" without squeezing of a pedal of a foot brake. Blocking joins also at simultaneous squeezing of pedals of a brake and accelerator. In case of refusal systems the lever can be unblocked by introduction of a key to a special groove near lever assembly.

Check

The checks of electromagnetic actuation mechanisms of both blocking given below can are made by own forces of the amateur mechanic in house conditions. More detailed diagnostics of system has to be carried out in the conditions of a workshop of car service.

Electromagnetic actuation mechanism of blocking of the ignition key

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the lower section of finishing of the dashboard and a knee emphasis (see the Head Kuzov).

2. Disunite the 7-contact socket of the main plait of an electrical wiring (see an accompanying illustration).

3. Check the socket for existence of conductivity between plugs in various provisions of the switch of ignition. At a key utaplivaniye in the lock conductivity has to take place between plugs 5, 6 and 7. At a key otpuskaniye – between plugs 5 and 6 (about 15÷20 of Ohm in the latter case).
4. Make sure that extraction of a key is not possible when giving tension of the battery on plugs 5 and 7.
5. If the key is not taken, therefore the system of blocking functions regularly, otherwise it is necessary to replace assembly of the lock of ignition (locks in an individual order are not issued).

Electromagnetic actuation mechanism of blocking of gear shifting

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the console (see the Head Kuzov).

2. Disunite the 2-contact socket of the electromagnetic device of blocking of gear shifting (see an accompanying illustration).

3. By means of two wires crossing points for a moment connect the battery to socket plugs (a positive pole – to the plug 1, negative – to the plug 2) and aurally make sure of serviceability of operation of the lock.

Violation of polarity of connection of the battery is fraught with failure of the diode in electromagnetic assembly.


   a) If the click does not follow, replace electromagnetic knot;
   b) If the device works normally, however problems with blocking remain, it is necessary to try to make adjustment (see below).
4. At the switched-on electromagnetic device measure gap size between the blocking lever and dredging of a lock finger (see below).
5. At the switched-off electromagnetic device make sure of fixing of a lock finger the blocking lever. If the finger is not blocked, make adjustment of the electromagnetic device (see below).

Replacement and adjustment of the electromagnetic actuation mechanism

The procedure described below is related only to the gear shifting lock. Information on replacement of the electromagnetic actuation mechanism of blocking of the ignition key is provided in the Section devoted to replacement of the cylinder of the lock of ignition (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the blocking plug and a finger of the electromagnetic device.
2. Give самоконтрящиеся nuts and remove the electromagnetic device of blocking of gear shifting.

Nuts are subject to replacement without fail.


3. Installation is made upside-down. Do not tighten new nuts finally until execute adjustment of the electromagnetic device (see further).

4. For adjustment of the electromagnetic actuation mechanism of blocking of gear shifting give on it food and measure a gap between the blocking lever and dredging of a lock finger (see an accompanying illustration). Compare results of measurement to requirements of Specifications. In case of need adjust a gap by updating of the provision of the electromagnetic device, then finally tighten самоконтрящиеся nuts of its fastening with the required effort.


Do not forget to replace самоконтрящиеся nuts.


5. Make sure that at the switched-off electromagnetic device the lock finger is fixed by the blocking lever (see an accompanying illustration). If the finger is not blocked, repeat adjustment of position of the electromagnetic device.
