Check of serviceability of functioning of system of injection

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check reliability of fastening of electric connections, especially plugs of grounding of a chain of system of injection. Attentively examine all electric sockets concerning functioning of system. Violation of quality of electric contacts involves a set of problems and more than a half of engine failures is the reason.
2. Check battery charge level – the accuracy of management of composition of air-fuel mix to a great extent depends on serviceability of functioning of RSM and information sensors determined including by the level of tension of their food.
3. Check a condition of the filtering air cleaner element, – even partial violation of passability of the air filter has significant effect on profitability of fuel consumption and return of the engine (see the Head Routine maintenance).
4. Check serviceability of functioning of the fuel pump (see Check of serviceability of functioning of the fuel pump/pressure of fuel). If the safety lock of the pump fused, replace it new. If the new safety lock also at once fails, check a chain electrical wiring for existence of signs of short circuits (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
5. Check a condition of the vacuum hoses connected to the inlet pipeline.
6. Disconnect an air sleeve from the case of a throttle and check the last for existence of a nagaroobrazovaniye and other pollution (in particular on sites near a butterfly valve). In case of identification of signs of pollution of the case of a throttle address materials of the Head of the Control system of the engine and make diagnostics of malfunctions of the PCV and EGR systems. At strong pollution the case of a throttle is subject to replacement.

Walls of the throttle camera, a butterfly valve and its axis on the considered models of cars are covered with a protective film which should not try to be removed in order to avoid casual damage of components.


7. At the working engine serially listen to each of injection injectors by means of a stethoscope – the uniform poshchelkivaniye testifies to serviceability of functioning of an injector (see an accompanying illustration). In the absence of near at hand stethoscope, use the long screw-driver, just pressing a tip of her sting to the case of an injector and being guided by the vibrations transferred on the handle.

8. At identification of violations of functioning of an injector it is necessary to use a special lamp sampler for diagnostics of injectors (ask in shops of automobile accessories) – the lamp is connected to the electric socket of the suspected injector (see an accompanying illustration). Start the engine and check all injectors by means of a lamp. The uniform blinking of a lamp confirms serviceability of functioning of an injector.

9. Kill the engine, disunite electric sockets of injectors and measure the electric resistance of each of them (see an accompanying illustration). Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. In case of need replace the failed knot.
