Replacement of a back epiploon of a bent shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the transmission (see the Head Korobk of gear shifting).
2. Remove a flywheel / a driving disk (see Removal and installation of a flywheel / a driving disk).
3. Before removal of an old epiploon surely measure gap size between its face surface and the outer edge of the holder (use a small ruler or Columbus). Write down results of measurement – the new epiploon has to be put strictly on the same depth (see the Part the General and capital repairs of the engine of the present Chapter).

4. Replacement of an epiploon can be made without preliminary dismantle of the pallet of a case and the holder of an epiploon. Having accurately hooked the screw-driver, take an old epiploon from a landing nest in the holder (see an accompanying illustration).


Not to damage a pin of a shaft or a wall of a nest wrap up a screw-driver sting rags.


5. Slightly grease edges of a pin and a sponge of a new epiploon with universal lubricant, then, helping themselves a blunt tool, put on an epiploon a shaft (see an accompanying illustration). By means of a mandrel and the hammer put an epiploon in a nest (as a mandrel the face head of the corresponding size, or a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter can be used [there is slightly less outer diameter of an epiploon]).


The description of the procedure of replacement of an epiploon with demontazhy the holder is provided in the Part the General and capital repairs of the engine of the present Chapter.


5. Further installation is made as it should be, back to a dismantle order.
6. Start the engine and check its existence of leak of oil.
