1. At the included ignition disconnect an electrical wiring from the IAT sensor located on the inlet pipeline (see an accompanying illustration). By means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between two plugs on the sensor. Resistance of the sensor depends on temperature (see the accompanying table). |

2. At the included ignition (do not start the engine) measure basic tension on sensor electrical wiring socket plugs (a red-yellow wire) (see an illustration above). The result of measurement has to make about 5 V, otherwise walk on a wire to ECM/PCM, checking it for existence of breaks and fastening of contact connections. 3. If an electrical wiring as it should be, replace the IAT sensor. 4. If replacement of the sensor does not lead to elimination of a problem, the car should be driven away on car repair shop for performance of diagnostics of ECM/PCM. |
